Intern Software Engineer

We are seeking talented undergraduate and graduate students for paid internship opportunities (all year). We are looking for individuals who have a passion for one or more of the following areas: 

  • Biological engineering application design and development,
  • UIs and modern UX features in design software for biology, 
  • Work with customers and developers to formulate  novel solutions to complex real-world  problems in bioengineering.

 

Who We Are

Lattice Automation is an early stage biotech startup in Boston that provides complete software solutions to fundamentally change the way that biological designs are conceived, designed, physically created, and managed. Our technology builds upon state-of-the-art techniques in computer science, electrical engineering, and bioengineering. We are looking for passionate, motivated developers to help us build the future of biotech software.

 

About you

  • You are passionate about design and development of meaningful software applications and tools.
  • You have strong programming, teamwork, organization, and problem solving skills regardless of major or background. Experience with Javascript (ReactJS, AngularJS, or VueJS) and Python is a plus.
  • You have a background (4-year academic programs preferred) in computer science, computer engineering, bioengineering, bioinformatics, molecular biology, or web-application design.
  • You want to learn more about synthetic biology and how to use software to design living systems.
  • Strong preference for being physically located  in Boston.

You will join a team of software developers working to create cutting edge solutions for engineering biological systems in the Boston area.
